Behavior Consultations – COMING SOON!
Some dogs need more than a group class to feel safe, supported, and understood. That’s where our Behavior Consultation Services come in.
Led by Steph Du Preez, a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant with over 20 years of experience, these one-on-one sessions are tailored for dogs who are struggling with more complex behavioral issues.
This service is ideal for dogs who are experiencing:
- Leash reactivity (barking, lunging, or growling at dogs or people)
- Fear-based behaviors (hiding, freezing, cowering)
- Aggression (growling, snapping, biting)
- Separation anxiety
- Resource guarding (protecting food, toys, or people)
- Over-arousal or impulsivity (excessive jumping, mouthing, inability to settle)
- Generalized anxiety or stress in public or home environments
Steph works closely with each dog and their owner to identify the root of the behavior, build a behavior modification plan rooted in positive reinforcement, and provide practical strategies for safety and management. Her goal is to help both dog and owner feel more confident and in control.
